This month we’ve been on cloud 9 and in ultimate hair heaven as the team made history when they took centre stage at Salon International 2023 in London.
Salon International is the destination for the professional hairdressing industry, and ‘THE’ place to be to check out all the latest developments, trend spotting, inspiration and seeing the most fabulous and innovative live demonstrations all under one roof!
What an amazing weekend our team had amongst industry peers showcasing our work whilst also finding out more about some amazing brands and getting the lowdown on all the latest industry insight and innovations.
A huge thank you to the fabulous Natalie Cresswell of award-winning Cresswell Barber Co. for inviting us to share the Modern Barber stage, a monumental moment which signalled the first time a hair system demonstration has hit the live stage at Salon International. This on-stage experience was hot off the back of the ground-breaking feature and front page take over in BarberEvo. This really was an emotional experience and opportunity to cement our work and our ethos around normalising hair systems in the industry, this was indeed the moment when lightning struck, and we saw all our hard work pay off.
We were in absolute awe of the support and the crowds that flocked to see our live demonstration, the reception to our transformations of the three models (two male and one female) was off the scale. At the core of everything we do is collaboration, and it didn’t get any more collaborative than this – with the most divine and stylish salon chairs kindly on loan from Takara Belmont hitting the spotlight to showcase our models and demos to the most amazing professional hairdressing and barbering tools from Artero, who we also got the chance to work with on their stand to showcase how their tools work seamlessly with our hair systems.
Massive thanks to our models, stylists and educators on the stand including Kerry, The Wig and Beauty company, Sandra, The House of Hair and Doe, Mavericks Barber Company – you were all epic!
